Sick House!

Sorry I haven’t returned calls or emails lately…

Just call us the “sick house”. Abby has green snot rolling out of her nose. Hannah caught Abby’s cold. We had to take her to the dr. on friday – she was throwing up and pooping blood :( It apprarently came from her nose being dried out due to all the congestion. Still pretty scary. I woke up yesterday with a 102.5 fever :( I fear it may be the first sign of Mastitis :( SIGH. And then today, Jamey woke up with the same crap that Abby and Hannah have. Wanna come over for a visit? :)

I’ll keep you posted. Hopefully we are all well soon.

Abigail has been doing so well with Hannah! Today she even made the trip to the doctors office with us (with ZERO fits!!). We decided since it was a nice day we would all go to the park. Abby and Daddy ran all around the park – while Hannah and I chose to walk.

We left the house as a family of four for the first time today. Hannah had her first doctor appointment. She is doing well and has gained 3.5 ounces since we left the hospital on Saturday. Our next scheduled visits are at 1 and 2 months.

Abby quickly decided that the pack and play was still “hers”.
She removed all of Hannah’s diapers:

My good friend Lynn started knitting last year. Her first item was well, usable. But since then she has become a knitting rock star! She made a beautiful hat and afghan for Hannah. And with the little extra yarn she had – she made a nice little hat for one of Abby’s babies. Thanks so much Lynn! It is all just beautiful!

No longer B-R-O-K-E, and now it is IMPROVED!

I think things are back. I know the 2006 pictures for Abby aren’t fixed yet, but that should be it.
It appears things went bad when I tried to create squared thumbnails and we uploaded pictures of a different aspect ratio from my mom’s camera. I have shutoff squared thumbnails and added squared “frames” to keep the look clean.

Also look for the “new” and “updated” labels to show up in the albums. The “new” indiciates the picture or album are new, and the “updated” indicates an item inside an album has been added or changed.

B-R-O-K-E!

Well, I performed a security “upgrade” on our Gallery application this morning. That was a bad mistake. Even worse, the backout process has made the gallery stop working. I am working to get this corrected, and then I will work to get nightly, or at least weekly, snapshots of the website for easier backup.

UPDATE-2

Well, I figured out the length! She is 20.5 inches long.

She has had a few “issues”, but nothing to worry about according to the Nursery. Her blood sugar is lower than expected, so the Nursery is watching that pretty close. They were able to get it elevated to the proper levels after a good feeding. They suspect its just low until she gets on a regular feeding schedule.

UPDATE-1

Hannah has arrived!

Born: 12:37PM March 20th, 2008
7lbs, 9oz.
Length: Unknown – Bad dad

Mom and baby are doing just fine. We will continue to update whenever possible. In the meantime please checkout the photo gallery.

New pictures will be posted as they become available. We also have a few movie clips, but that might take a little longer.

We checked into the hospital last night around 7PM. There were some things they gave to Meagan to make her “ready” to deliver for today. She was also given an Ambien, which is a sleeping pill. However, due to her cramps and not being able to get comfortable, she stayed awake. Yes, she stayed awake even with sleeping pills in her.

So, after being in this room for 15 hours, and the delivery progress moving along as it should, she was eligibile to receive her Epidural. Unlike last time, she sdecided to take the Epidural as soon as they offered it. She is now resting comfortably, and it appears as if she has dosed off for a bit of a nap. We will keep you posted as I can.

I had this fantastic idea for a new MT. In the end… I don’t really like it. Sigh… oh well. It has panels that velcro into it… so you can have many different looks with only one real structure of an MT. Here are the pics… Maybe I’ll find a panel fabric that I really like?

With no panel:

Flowers – I think one of my favorites:

Blue Flowers – My other favorite:

“This isn’t even that real anymore”

Refering to watching 60 year old “Nature Boy” Ric Flair in a cage match on WWE.

Nice.
