This is Hannah (stuck) while searching for Cheerios. Maybe I need to sweep the kitchen more often? :)

Also, I would like to inform you that we forgot our camera in Du Quoin. I’ll get some pics up as soon as I get my camera back! :(

Well, we did it. We’ve talked about it for quite a while now and today, we brought home, a nice, brand new, shiny Wii! We also bought Guitar Hero World Tour. I thought this would be great fun… And with practice (years of practice) it will be. I have discovered I don’t have one musical cell in my body. It is quite a shame how silly Jamey and I look “Rockin’ Out”. It kind of reminds me of Will Farrell on SNL when he’s playing the little keyboard

Well, then again… They may not be great – but they do have rhythm. Sigh… We just really, um… we’re not good! LOL

Here is the box!

I was a bit surprised to see J really reading some instructions, hehe.

Abby may have been even more excited than me and J.

Hannah had some music fun this afternoon too! Wow! Two instruments at one time!

She finally settled with the guitar.

Look at the concentration!

This is what you see on the TV – it tells you which notes to play. However, that doesn’t really help if you have no musical skills whatsoever… I’m just sayin…

And to wrap up the evening… Abby took a turn on the drums!

Here’s a short video clip – All of the drums you hear… you guessed it — Abigail! She was super! You may also notice in this video she is wearing big girl pants!! We have been dry for nearly THREE days now (even naps and bedtime)! It is like something just clicked! Knock on wood! I probably shouldn’t have shared any of that with you :P Here’s the video!

You know those lists that say, “your child should blah blah blah by the time they are x?” Well, here is Hannah holding two balls and banging them together. With Abby I could have told you the exact moment she was ‘supposed’ to do this… but with Hannah… I just have no idea. She’s doing it now… so I guess that is good :P

Here’s the scene – I was running into Walgreens real quick to pick up a picture order. Now, I would most likely never put one of those blow up things in my front yard… but the back yard… now that is a different story! I knew this equation would be true — TRAIN + MICKEY = HAPPY ABBY So, the price was right and that was that! I came home and went straight to the backyard. I knocked on the kitchen door so Abby would come look. She loves it!!

that I love having kids! They are sooooo fun to dress up! We went into Target today and Abby acted like the sun was burning out her eyeballs. She has a couple pair of sunglasses but the ones I happened to have with us have a loose screw. So we decided to get a brand new pair. They had several to choose from (Abby really wanted Diego – but she also wanted Thomas the Train big girl pants… try explaining that to a 2 year old!) We finally decided on the Hello Kitty ones.

And doesn’t she look like a spoiled little kid with her cool hat, cool sunglasses, Starbucks and pumpkin loaf!!

Abby is finally figuring out the whole pee pee in the potty thing :) Whew! We went to the Mills with Kelly and kids yesterday. I noticed at lunch time that Abby still had a dry diaper – so I asked her if she needed to go. She said YES! So up we went – and what do you know?!?! She did it! She was sooo proud! This pic will be interesting to those of you that don’t have small kids anymore. Most of the malls here have “family” restrooms. There is usually a kids potty. They are so cute! Almost makes me want to try it :P !! (And yes, I asked her to pose by the potty so we could take a pic to show Daddy! I was sorta proud too!!)

Delicious!
