So last week Abby was sick. She had a fever for 4 days or so and a really yucky throat. During this time I thought it would be nice to give her milkshakes. She was drinking okay – but not eating much. One day she was drinking a milkshake and then I noticed there was a cherry in the bottom and I convinced her to eat it. I thought she’d love it. Apparently, cherries really hurt your throat when it is sore. Sooo, I don’t really expect her to try that again any time soon.

Anyway, today she tried to tell me she had a sore throat again — just take a listen:

We finally have a quilt! It wasn’t what I was searching for — but I love it! I think I may like it even more than my original plan!! We went to the mall yesterday and I finally found a green bedskirt and shams that I liked.

The girls and I were at Hobby Lobby and they had these cute hangy things. Abby picked out three colors and we made a little mobile for her room!

Abby loves mirrors – so this is a mirror from Gma Mifflin. We’ve had it for a while but it had an oak finish. I asked her if I could paint it white for Abby’s room. Abby loves it!! I just ordered this dresser for Abby too!

We won’t have to stack her clothes in piles in her closet anymore! It will be fantastic!! I’ll remove the little cherry table once her dresser arrives. I also think I want to do something to make her letters stand out more. They are PBK letters… so I don’t want to paint the letters themselves. Maybe I’ll do something behind them on the wall? We’ll see.
