Kitchen is done!! I hated the orange walls!!! Orange walls, orange cabinets, orange floor!! GAH!!!! Yes, I know I need a curtain and some more decor… but I just couldn’t stand all of the orange!! Thanks to Brooke for helping me cover it in primer and thanks to Jamey for dealing with the girls much of the time while I painted. I love the green. If I have to keep the ugly cabinets — at least the green goes a bit better than all orange.
I helped a friend by watering her plants while she went on vacation. She thanked me by bringing back some beautiful necklaces for the girls! They love them!
You have always been able to click on each picture to see the bigger – full size image. Once you looked at the image, you had to click the BACK arrow to return to the blog. Now, once you click on the image – it will appear in front of the blog. To close the image and return to the blog, simply click somewhere OFF of the image -OR- click the white X that appears in the lower right hand corner of the large image. We hope you like this update!
Yup! That just about sums her up!
Our friends are heading back to Houston tomorrow. We spent the day at the zoo and the evening in the backyard. It was just perfect! We played on the swings. We grilled. We ate gooey butter cake. 
And… Hannah’s very first ear of corn It was good!
I love that I can throw a couple leaves in my table and seat 5 kids and 4 adults. It was just perfect to be able to sit down together. Our wonderful Goddaughter said the most beautiful prayer before we ate. She is turning into this little girl — when did that happen???
We met some friends at the zoo this morning. It was a bit humid but not horrible.
Jamey came home with an early birthday surprise!!!! I am so excited!!! He brought me a brand new FREAKING AWESOME BEYOND WORDS camera!! Here are the first few pics we took.
I finally got her decals up.
What a fun trip down to the dock. We are hot and worn out! At least we caught one fish!
