“Messy” Indeed!!

Well, Abby’s first year of school is almost over. All of the end of school activities are taking place. Unfortunately, Water Day got rained out  But Messy Art Day was a GO!!! Jamey was able to work from home and keep Hannah — so I was able to go up to the school and help with this very fun/messy day!

The kids were able to squish their feet in paint and walk across a long black paper making foot prints. They also played in colored shaving cream and with spray bottles filled with watery paint. They used fly swatters and plungers to make designs on paper with paint. And finally they got to drive little cars through some paint and then roll them around on the art paper to see the designs the tires made. So much fun!!! Most of the kids there had huge smiles on their faces the whole time.

Since I was a helper that day – I didn’t think it would be fair to whip out my camera and start taking pics of MY kid. I did get some fun ones when we go home though. Ever wonder what Abby would look like with freckles?
