We have a friend that just came home from the hospital. She has a husband a few kids. They really missed their mommy/wife. I decided to take them something to eat. Lynn helped me decide on a homemade chicken pot pie. Mom mentioned a salad would be nice. Then I decided to throw in some chocolate chip cookies. The girls and I really enjoyed the day together in the kitchen. And our friends really enjoyed their supper :)

I started around noon with some fresh chicken stock. It made the house smell wonderful! I used some carrots, onions, peppercorns, garlic, celery, sage, rosemary, thyme and parsley.

Add in a couple gallons of water and a whole chicken. Mmmm!!!

Abby worked on her very own pie!

Our finished pies.

The girls helped me with the cookies!

And of course, after an entire day of cooking and baking… I get this :/

Hannah LOVES to sit on the potty. She isn’t successful all of the time – but she would run around naked all day long just to have the opportunity to sit on this particular potty. Abby gets all excited and screams: HANNAH IS LEARNING TO POTTY TRAIN!!!!!

I was standing outside talking to Tim (roof guy) and then I heard it – a very distorted POP GOES THE WEASEL!! Panic struck when I realized I didn’t have any dollars. Then I turned to Tim and said, “Eeks, I sure hope she doesn’t hear that!” I looked back toward the house and a sad little face was pressed against the window. I ran to the door and told her I’d look for dollars. When I couldn’t find any, I remembered the change jar! The girls didn’t have shoes on, but it was such a beautiful day we just didn’t care! I scooped up Hannah and Abby followed close behind. Then we waited. And waited. And waited some more!! It seems the other end of the neighborhood must have lots of kids! Finally we heard the music again. Abby, of course, picked out the chocolate cone! I set them free in the backyard. Shoeless and dripping with chocolate! It was a good afternoon. I came in the house to keep packing. And out of the corner of my eye I caught the most beautiful sight. Abby was sharing. I didn’t make her. I wasn’t even supervising. I’m not gonna lie – I think a tear rolled down my face. No matter what I tell you at 7pm when we’ve all had a very long day – we have two very good girls :)

I made the girls pancakes for lunch the other day. I always make a double batch so I can freeze some. They had a few for breakfast this morning.

The kids we just fantastic this entire trip. We did the best we could to move at their pace most every day. I bet I didn’t say “hurry” more than five times. It was so nice. Today, however, we had to hurry!! Hannah didn’t care for this too much and took a moment to protest. I asked her if she was having a fit and she said, “YES!” ;)

So our very first day at SeaWorld Abby noticed a girl with a HUGE blue lollipop. She wanted one soooo badly! So much that she told me we needed to go find that girl and ask her where she got it :) Fortunatly Laura spotted some much smaller ones in the grocery store today. We gave them to Ian and Abby right after lunch. They were very happy :)

A manatee eats 200lbs of lettuce a day!!! And they move at a snails pace. They must just graze 24/7. They were quite relaxing to watch :)

We decided to get at least one more day in at Sea World. Tomorrow is threatening rain :( So today was the day! Her we are right before we left.

We had an awesome day. We are thinking of going to a lighthouse tomorrow. I’ve never been to a lighthouse so this is pretty exciting for me!! Right now we are considering sea world again on Saturday so the guys can go too. Oh!! Please remember i am giving you all of these posts from a little bitty keyboard on my phone. I’m doing the best I can with spelling and such. It takes a while for things to finally post. So you are pretty much getting my first shot at things – no edits :) See you in the morning :)

Yes Abby. That is quite possible. She did so great on the plane. We arrived in Orlando a bit early and had to wait a few minutes before we could get off of the plane. During those few minutes Abby spilled water on her pants. It looked like she had peed :( The extra clothes I packed for her were pjs. Note: Earlier in the day Jamey asked me how I was doing. I told him I was fine – I just didn’t want to embarass him (in front of his boss). Sooo, I’d like everyone please welcome Princess Rainbow Bright! Remember that comment about not embarrassing Jamey? He held her little hand – rainbows and shiny shoes and all – and proudly walked through the entire airport ;)
