All of the information below is brought to you by my Garmin Forerunner 305 and a new running tracking app for the Mac called rubiTrack! Awesome stuff! So glad we are geeks!
So here are the stats. It was rough. My first three miles were awesome… then came the hills
Note: All of the gray boxes are most likely where I saw my crew. I did not just stop and hang out for a minute
Most of these stops were less than 30 seconds. I know once I took off layers of clothes and once I removed a rock from my shoe. I also sometimes paused to swap hydration bottles . So, I’m guessing this is when those times occurred. How awesome that I got to see my friends so often on the course!!! Click map to enlarge.
I told you it was hilly! Check out the purple line. That represents the hills. Please take special notice of miles 10-12.5. Seriously?? Killer right!!! My legs were trashed and they thought it would be grand to make us climb and climb and climb!! Then the green bars are my pace. You can see that I did as I was told and sprinted at the 13 mile marker
Fun to see on a chart. I did not wear my heart rate monitor – so the red line means nothing in this picture. Click graph to enlarge.
Splits: My total running time “split into pieces”. In this case, 1 mile increments.
