Abby: Sometimes when I’m riding the bicycle at school I stop and think.
Me: What do you think about?
Abby: You know, fire trucks, hawks and water fountains.
You Know!

Yes Abby. That is quite possible. She did so great on the plane. We arrived in Orlando a bit early and had to wait a few minutes before we could get off of the plane. During those few minutes Abby spilled water on her pants. It looked like she had peed
The extra clothes I packed for her were pjs. Note: Earlier in the day Jamey asked me how I was doing. I told him I was fine – I just didn’t want to embarass him (in front of his boss). Sooo, I’d like everyone please welcome Princess Rainbow Bright! Remember that comment about not embarrassing Jamey? He held her little hand – rainbows and shiny shoes and all – and proudly walked through the entire airport
I was looking out the front window today and noticed a turtle sitting in the road. If you’ve been to our house – you know how fast the traffic moves… this turtle didn’t have a chance! So I ran out and picked him up. He stopped for a minute in the house so that the girls could see him. They were VERY interested. Hannah had zero fear. Apparently she’s never seen how dangerous the mouth part of a turtle can be!
I kept having horrible visuals of how I would have to get her fingers out of the turtle… yuck! Anyway, we moved him to the back yard in a pie plate with some water. He hung out there for a long time. Abby fed him some grass and leaves while Hannah played with the water toys. While we were eating breakfast “Sally” went on her way
Here she is in the house cooling down
Chase the turtle! Chase the turtle!!!
I want to touch it mom!!
My turn!
I wasn’t sure how she’d feel about the water – but she sat there for quite a while
Abby kept her company
And fed her some grass and leaves because she wasn’t sure if the turtle would eat bumblebees??
She sure was pretty!
After hanging out with us for a while she decided to take off. Abby said she was going to find her mommy but she would probably come back to visit. This is why I still have a pie plate of water in my back yard ![]()
