Hb has had a (quiet) hard time with all the changes lately. It was really hard for her when she couldn’t hug Jamey whenever and however she wanted. Today she ran up to him to give him a hug and exclaimed, “I can’t feel your pipes!” Jamey and I just looked at each other for a minute. Then we realized she meant his catheter 😉
Sweet girl. One day at a time. 12 hours at a time. One deep breath at a time.
Jamey is doing great. He was pretty swollen from his flights. So we had to step it up to the green boxes for a couple days. He is doing much better now. We are also going to drop back on the heparin a bit. We were doing every night due to the amounts of fibrin we were seeing in his line. But we checked again last night and didn’t see any. So we may drop back to adding it every other day.
It has to be hard on the girls. Please give them a big hug from me.

There is a reason I’ve always called her “Sweet Hannah” She is so sweet! Yes, she really does love hugging her daddy! He does look better, and I love that his color is back! As you know…I love you all!
