Jamey is feeling GREAT!!! We are down to scheduled once a week visits to clinic/hospital for labs and appointments. He is still working from home daily — but he has been to the office once or twice for a few hours. His immune system is still quite suppressed. We can expect that to be the case for several more months…. Read more »

Here we are! We made it 4 weeks with little difficulty. Yay!! We continue driving downtown to the hospital two days a week. The last few visits have been pretty uneventful. 14 days. Creatinine down 18 points. Weight (extra fluid and toxins) down nearly 30 lbs. Phosphorus down. Potassium down. Liver enzymes down. Thankful and Amazed.
Wednesday afternoon I was scheduled to return Jamey’s cycler to the DaVita Clinic. At the last minute he decided to jump in the car with me. I’m so glad he did. It was lovely to see the smile on Nurse Sally’s face.
